Talent Essentials

Our Talent Essentials coaching approach is designed to engage and support high potentials, those on succession plans or to dovetail into a wider talent developmentprogramme.

How it works

Each programme starts with an in-depth Discovery conversation followed by a mix of virtual and/or face to face sessions with a Leadership coach, and ends with a final session to celebrate progress and agree next steps.

Coaching is based on our 5 Talent Essentials:-

  • Engagement - what time are you prepared to invest in your own development? What goals do you want to focus on?

  • Education - what learning or skills will help you reach your goals? For example, recommended reading, courses, webinars, further education?

  • Experience - what opportunities exist to help you develop a sense of the wider

    business?

  • Environment - where do you see your future within the business? For example , location, team or function? What environments inspire you?

  • Exposure - who, within the business, needs to see the great things you’re doing? Who can you learn from? How to develop a network?

If included as part of a wider Talent Development programme, coaching provides the ‘glue’ that binds all the learning together. Coaches may also be invited partake in other activities, such as observing group activities like project meetings or Action Learning Sets.
